For HR professionals

Ai Group also runs regular sector networks for HR professionals. The HR Networks provide an opportunity for HR professionals to interact and confer with colleagues in their sector dealing with similar workplace issues. These network events often include updates on safety and environmental issues in the following sectors: Food & Beverage; Construction; Labour Hire; Aviation; Road Transport & Logistics; ICT; Printing & Packaging; Health; Horticulture; Metals & Associated Industries. Other HR Networks have a geographical focus and include HR Connect (Vic); Senior Human Resources Network (Qld); and HR network (Adelaide/Regional). Contact info@aigroup.com.au

Ai Group is a leading voice for Workplace Relations policy in Australia. Our Workplace Relations/HR Network is for Senior Executives and WR/HR decision makers and influencers who want to better understand and comply with regulatory obligations and have timely access information on changes to the WR system to enable them to proactively engage in WR planning.

In addition, once a year Ai Group hosts a two-day conference in Canberra for HR professionals who are members of our exclusive PIR (Policy-Influence-Reform) Group. These PIR conferences are "don't miss" events. Conference participants can hear from Government ministers, opposition and regulators on current issues as well get the latest updates from experts in employment law, IR, HR, skills development and economics.

The PIR conferences manage to strike just the right balance between formal presentations, interactive workshop and networking sessions with high profile guest speakers. Members of PIR pay a separate annual fee which entitles them to attend these conferences at very competitive rates. For more information contact Vasuki Paul

For Workplace Health and Safety professionals

Ai Group has strong relationships with governments and with the regulators of workplace health and safety and regularly puts forward submissions to national and state government and regulatory bodies to represent the interests of our members.

You can find out what the regulators are really looking for to demonstrate compliance and contribute your feedback about your interactions with them.

Our relationship with the regulators means that we can give you access to senior people who can consider your issues.

In addition to our jurisdictional contacts, at a national level Ai Group is a member of Safe Work Australia and the Asbestos Safety and Eradication Council.

A range of networks have been established to provide the opportunity for two-way feedback between members and Ai Group on policy development in Safety and Workers' Compensation at the state and national level. Safety and Workers' Compensation networks run in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and Queensland, and provide an opportunity for members to network, share their experiences and hear from guest speakers on topics of interest.

From time to time Ai Group forms specific policy forums to consult on a range of safety and workers' compensation policy issues, such as proposed legislative changes. These may be state-based or have a national focus; they may meet in person or communicate via email. For further information, or to be added to our invitation list for this group, please send your details to Tracey Browne

WHS Connect

WHS Connect is a national and localised network that enables Ai Group members to share ideas and strategies; hear from industry stakeholders; access best practice models in WHS compliance and regulatory information; and enable proactive planning in WHS matters.

Access is open to Ai Group members as part of the annual subscription fee. Contact Andrew Campbell or  Kate Friedman.
