Just in case we need to add a WYSIWYG block to every page. We can hide this in the meantime.

The Fair Work Legislation Amendment (Secure Jobs, Better Pay) Act 2022 and the Fair Work Legislation Amendment (Protecting Worker Entitlements) Act 2023 made extensive changes to parental leave entitlements under the Fair Work Act 2009.

As the changes are already in effect, it's imperative employers are across their obligations. This two-part webinar will assist employers in navigating the significant implications for employers, including the new processes required for compliance with the time-critical response obligations.

The first webinar in this two-part series will:

  • Explain the key changes, including how to manage the changes to unpaid parental leave entitlements and flexible working request rights for pregnant employees;
  • Cover relevant changes introduced by other legislation, such as in relation to the Government’s Paid Parental Leave scheme and Superannuation entitlements;
  • Provide practical guidance and recommendations in relation to eligibility, resourcing options to manage flexibilities and navigating requests for both unpaid parental leave and flexible working requests; and
  • Outline the key resources and templates available to members via our HR Resource Centre.
