On 1 February 2023 the new paid family and domestic leave entitlement in the National Employment Standards commenced for employees other than employees of small businesses. For employees of small businesses, the new paid leave entitlement commences on 1 August 2023.
The Government has introduced new requirements regarding the information that is, and is not, to be displayed on a pay slip in relation to the new entitlements.
It is important for members to appreciate that there have been recent changes to the initial pay slip requirements that were introduced late last year in support of the new entitlements.
