Ai Group Workplace Lawyers is delighted to introduce its new leadership team.
Victoria Halliday, Stuart Le Grand and Jackie Power are a dynamic and highly experienced trio excited to be leading their 45-strong team, including:
▪ experienced employment, industrial & workplace safety legal practitioners
▪ workplace investigators and
▪ workplace, human resources & safety advisors.
Victoria is our Head of Legal & Consulting Services.
Based in Melbourne, she started her career as an employment lawyer at Mallesons before moving to Freehills and then overseas to London.
Victoria has significant experience in providing employment legal advice across industry, having worked at Telstra, Credit Suisse, Apple and BAE Systems.
After 13 years in London, including time spent leading BAE Systems’ global employment legal team, Victoria returned to Australia with BAE Systems where she performed a mix of HR, ER and employment legal roles including a period as the Acting Chief People Officer.
As well as her role at Ai Group Workplace Lawyers, Victoria is a non-executive director of Seer Medical.
Stuart is a National Manager of Legal & Consulting Services.
In previous roles, Stuart specialised in personal injury law and litigation for which he holds an Accreditation by the Law Instiute of Victoria.
A confident media spokesperson with two decades of legal practice behind him, Stuart has worked in senior management across both the private and public sectors in the legal/professional services industry.
He is also Director of Road Trauma Support Services Victoria and a committee member of Ethical Clothing Australia.
Jackie is also a National Manager of Legal & Consulting Services.
She is an experienced operational and people leader who has worked at a senior and executive leadership level across a variety of sectors and industries. Commencing her career in industrial and employment relations positions within highly unionised environments provided Jackie with a solid foundation to progress into the leadership of large-scale human resources and employment relations teams.
Before joining Ai Group Workplace last year, Jackie was working for Life Without Barriers, one of Australia’s largest social purpose organisations where she held a variety of senior leadership roles within the human resources and operations functions.
Throughout her career, Jackie has been involved in complex transformation, organisational design and change projects, which have included the development and leadership of employee relations strategies for mergers, acquisitions and government divestments.

Wendy Larter is Communications Manager at the Australian Industry Group. She has more than 20 years’ experience as a reporter, features writer, contributor and sub-editor for newspapers and magazines including The Courier-Mail in Brisbane and Metro, the News of the World, The Times and Elle in the UK.
