An individual employee has filed an application with the Fair Work Commission which seeks 22 separate variations to the Road Transport (Long Distance Operations) Award 2020, many of which would give rise to significant adverse consequences for employers.

If the Fair Work Commission decides to vary the Road Transport (Long Distance Operations) Award 2020 in accordance with this application, it may have substantial implications for members employing under any road transport award, including this award and the Road Transport and Distribution Award 2020.
