On 1 November 2024, Ai Group filed a submission in the Fair Work Commission, in support of proposals it is advancing to vary the General Retail Industry Award 2020. This includes proposals to simplify the payment of wages clause, clarify the first aid allowance, improve flexibility regarding the taking of breaks and introducing an exemption rate.
