On 4 August 2024, Ai Group filed a submission to the Victorian Legislative Assembly Economy and Infrastructure Committee inquiry into workplace surveillance. The Committee is examining a range of matters relating to the use of video and audio surveillance, IT surveillance and location surveillance, including considering the effectiveness of existing privacy and workplace laws and workplace surveillance legislation in other jurisdictions, such as the Workplace Surveillance Act 2005 (NSW).
