Ai Group is celebrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) Month and you are invited to join us for presentations from two industry leaders. The question of whether AI is more than ChatGPT, along with practical examples and ethical considerations when using it, were be explored.

ChatGPT is the starting point for many businesses on their AI journey and there are many examples of how this platform has increased organisational efficiencies. Our speakers discussed how AI platforms can drive innovation and manufacturing excellence and examine the ethical issues users should be aware of when entering the world of AI.

Martin Ripple, CEO of ANCA, a world leading manufacturer of CNC grinding machines, motion controls and manufacturing solutions, discussed ANCA’s experiences with implementing AI and how they have harnessed it across different platforms, products and services.

Kareen Koomen AM, Director Government and Regulatory Affairs, IBM Australia discussed the ethical considerations that members will face when implementing AI solutions. She outlined how building awareness, tools and strategies to ensure ethics, transparency and human oversight in the design of AI is a fundamental step to getting it right.
