Employees are usually aware that there is a recruitment process underway. Announcing the employee to the business is an important part of the process and it shows value to the broader employee group by sharing that a decision has been made. It also will position employees to warmly welcome the new employee.

This Sample: Welcome Email - New Employee Announcement can be used as an example of how to advise the organisation of the commencement of a new employee(s).

Employers are encouraged to be aware of and respectful of the employee’s pronoun. Respecting pronouns is about acknowledging and affirming an individual’s identity, fostering inclusivity and creating a safe and respectful work environment.
