As the Cyber Specialist at Ai Group's Business Consulting Unit, I lead our comprehensive cybersecurity and information security advisory services. With over 30 years of experience across diverse industries—education, publishing, legal, heavy distribution, warehousing, Defence equipment calibration, and more—I am passionate about leveraging technology to drive efficiencies, mitigate risks, and solve business problems.

With Digital Transformation, however, comes the increased risk of sabotage, theft and attack. So over the past five years my focus has been on cybersecurity, helping organisations enhance their security posture and meet compliance requirements. I have extensive experience with trusted security frameworks including the ACSC Essential Eight and the CIS Controls, and am an ardent believer in their strategic use to reduce threat risk in real and practical ways.

I enjoy helping organisations on their journey through the complexities of IT security to improve their cyber and information defences, as well as facilitating training courses that help secure people, their friends & family, and their businesses against attacks. My qualifications include the CISSP cybersecurity certification, an MBA in project-based management, a Bachelor of Science, a Graduate Diploma of Education, and the ACSC Essential-Eight Assessment endorsement.
