Tracey has extensive experience in Manufacturing environments with senior roles in Human Resources, Work Health and Safety and Workers’ Compensation Management.

Tracey has been part of Ai Group’s national team focusing on Work Health and Safety and Workers’ Compensation since July 2001.  Tracey undertakes some consulting services, predominantly in workers compensation with a focus on premiums, and delivers Ai Group’s workers’ compensation related training programs.  She supports the consulting team by keeping us informed of the policy and representation work that is underway at Safe Work Australia and in individual jurisdictions across Australia.

A major focus of Tracey’s current role in Ai Group is to ensure that member views and interests, related to WHS and workers’ compensation, are communicated to government, regulators and other relevant bodies, when legislative and policy changes are being considered, and to initiate change where appropriate.  

Tracey holds the Ministerial appointment for Ai Group as a member of Safe Work Australia and the Asbestos Safety and Eradication Council.   

Tracey participates in Safe Work Australia strategic working groups and in state-based consultation with WHS and workers’ compensation regulators and workers’ compensation scheme managers. 

Tracey has an indepth understanding of WHS/OHS and workers’ compensation laws across Australia, which she combines with her industry experience to provide members with practical information and advice about their obligations, to aid compliance and assist businesses to achieve best practice.

Tracey has a Bachelor of Business, a Master of Applied Science (OHS) and a Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training, and is a certified Mental Health First Aider. 

Tracey maintains the following professional memberships: Chartered Professional Member, Safety Institute of Australia; and Certified Professional, Australian Human Resources Institute.
