This 90-minute online course is designed for Human Resource/People & Culture team members, guiding them on how to work securely with organisational personal and sensitive data.
The course will the cover the various ways that data can leak, be lost, or stolen from your organisation, and provide strategies to manage and mitigate these risks.
It delves into how you can help your team, organisation and third parties work securely; time is spent discussing various cyber risks particularly with respect to job candidates and working with recruitment agencies.
This is a ‘working securely with business data’ course that focuses on the ways you can protect the sensitive information used and stored within your team, and the broader organisation. For example, guidance is provided on how to send and receive data & files securely with others.
This session builds on Ai Group’s “Cyber Essentials” course but does not require it. It assumes a basic understanding of core topics such as MFA, phishing, and good password practices, but also does a quick recap on common threats and how to mitigate them.
Finally, the session briefly touches on the proposed reforms to the Australia Privacy Principles, helping attendees understand how the use and storage of personal information may change.
As always, the full PowerPoint slide deck will be provided to attendees after the session. It includes an extensive list of resources covering the topic areas of the course.
